After four years of work, the first section of the road works for the broadening, repaving and construction of engineering structures along 26 km between the districts of Gonnaives and Ennery, was received by the Government of Haiti in December 2018. This is the result of a joint effort among the Government of Haiti, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the contractor and the supervisory consortium led by AC&A. This is an important milestone in the history of AC&A since it represents the first project fully supervised by the company in Haitian territory.

Supervision continues at the Ennery-Plaissance and Plaissance-CamCoq sections, which include works on the road surface, concrete structures, soil movement and paving works. All these are also funded by the IDB.
