Under the project “Multi-annual Plan for Investments and Maintenance of the road network of the provinces of Jujuy, Salta, Santiago del Estero and Tucumán”, financed by the World Bank as part of the Norte Grande Road Infrastructure Program, AC&A is carrying out a series of trainings for the technical personnel of each agency, with two clear objectives. First, to make a transfer of knowledge so that the database and information systems that will be delivered under this contract can be operated and updated by provincial officials.

Secondly, to raise awareness about the importance of the elaboration of these types of plans and the benefits they bring both to users and society, as well as to each Provincial Highway Administration itself, and the importance of planning the maintenance scenarios of the road network to preserve the public heritage of each province.

The titles of these trainings were:

  • Survey of pavement status
  • Roughness measurement
  • Measurement of deflections
  • Traffic measurement
  • Databases and GIS
  • Multiannual Investment Plan

Through this work, these four provinces will have the most up-to-date and complete information in the country, which was collected with high-tech equipment and then systematized in a georeferenced database that can be easily accessible and updated.
